Graduates who have been approved to walk in May can expect to receive an email issuing them four guest tickets. The email will arrive from the campus-based ticket service, Purple Pass, to student email addresses in late January. Tickets can be printed or saved electronically for distribution to guests. Students will then be given the opportunity to return tickets or request additional tickets, which will be distributed equitably based on availability. Additional guest tickets are not guaranteed.

Tickets are required for general seating in Shapiro Field House for the Commencement ceremony and will be scanned by security staff upon entry. Guests without tickets at the door will be invited next door to Kreitzberg Arena to view a livestream of the event. Overflow venue seats are not ticketed or limited for additional family members.

The ROTC Joint Commissioning ceremony and individual branch Commissioning ceremonies do not require tickets.

Accessible seating for participants with disabilities and/or limited mobility:  Upon arrival, guests will be directed by Commencement staff to accessible seating areas at the event. Graduates and guests can contact the Office of the Provost to request ADA accommodations at commencement@norwich.edu or within the text box on the ticket claim requests.

Please note: Section B is bleacher seating. These seats provide guests with a higher vantage point to view the ceremony but bleacher seating is not easily accessible for guests with limited mobility and they do not have back supports. Seating in bleachers requires climbing which is not always convenient. Students should plan and communicate accordingly with their guests.
