²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù has strived to provide practical and experiential learning to its students since its founding. That centuries-old tradition continues today as a pair of ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù cadets traveled to the Republic of Kosovo, where they attended International Cadets Week hosted by the Center for University Studies – Kosovo Defense Academy.
A group of four freshly graduated ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù alumni finalized their educational journey by presenting their capstone project, an aircraft pressure sensor testing apparatus, to Collins Aerospace on April 25.
Alan DeForest ’75, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù, proudly announces the unanimous decision to elect Lieutenant General John Broadmeadow ’83, USMC (Retired), as the University’s 25th president on April 19, 2024. LtGen Broadmeadow will officially transition from his Board of Trustees position to the presidential office on May 1, 2024, which will mark the first time in more than three decades that a ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù alumnus will lead the school as its president.
²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù is proud to announce the upcoming annual Master’s Hooding, Commencement, and Commissioning Ceremonies on Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27. This year, ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù will proudly inaugurate more than 920 graduates into the next stage of their professional journeys.
On April 19, ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù will recognize the senior cadet class for their service and contributions to our university and beyond and promote the new cadet chain of command for the 2024-2025 academic year. We invite ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù and local communities to attend either in-person or virtually.
The on-campus event was a complete success, with over 250 ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù students adding their names to the National Marrow Donor Program registry to become potential donors.
The powerhouse design team consists of Construction Management majors Jason Stapleford and John O’Neil, Civil Engineering majors Will Sabo and Wyatt Beatini, as well as advisors Dr. Moses Tefe of the ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù David Crawford School of Engineering and Seth Knihtila ’12.
Recently, retired Major General Bruce K. Scott, USA, who is the President and CEO of The Olmsted Foundation, sent a noteworthy email to ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù Acting President Dr. Karen Gaines.
