The Vermont State Legislature recently passed a House Concurrent Resolution honoring the late Doc Martin ’20. Coinciding with the anniversary of his passing, the resolution was read aloud from the State House chamber and then delivered to ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù by Representative Anne Donahue (Northfield).

²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù is known for its ability to send leaders out into the world, but on Wednesday, ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù welcomed a world-renowned military leader through its doors when General Paul Nakasone walked onto campus. Later, another ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù first was announced after the university signed an Educational Partnership Agreement with U.S. Cyber Command (CYBERCOM).
²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù spent Friday and Saturday of this weekend celebrating Veterans Day to thank all who have served or are currently serving. A Veterans Day observance ceremony was held on Friday, while events throughout the day Saturday marked the holiday weekend.
The 2023 Convocation Ceremony was held the afternoon of August 29. The Class of 2027 and attendees of this year's ceremony were greeted with a special message from President Mark C. Anarumo, Provost and Dean of Faculty Karen Gaines, and Commandant William F. McCollough.
The annual New Student Oath Ceremony for the incoming class of civilians and rooks was held on Sunday, August 27.

²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù is pleased to announce that Kimberly Reilly will join the senior administration as our new Vice President of Enrollment Management. She is scheduled to begin work on May 22, 2023, and will report to Danielle Pelczarski, Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff.
