Cadet Marrs (AFROTC) selected to attend the 2024 Women’s Air and Space Symposium
She is one of only four Air Force and Space Force (AFROTC) cadets from the 145 detachments across the country selected to attend the 2024 Women’s Air and Space Symposium.
Cadet Maykala Marrs, who earlier this academic year was selected for Air Force Cyberspace Operations, has been selected to attend this year’s Women’s Air and Space Symposium. The rigorous and highly competitive selection process included all top-ranked nominees. The process involved evaluating academic achievements, fitness assessments, and leadership experience among the cadets. She is one of only four Air Force and Space Force (AFROTC) cadets from the 145 detachments across the country selected to attend the 2024 Women’s Air and Space Symposium.
This year’s theme is “SIMUL FORTIOR Stronger Together – celebrating the collective strength of all.” Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Spring, Colorado, will host the event from March 26-28. A wide-ranging and experienced group of distinguished panelists, including many seasoned high-ranking veteran officers, will share their expertise on a variety of topics to help build a stronger and more cohesive military.
